Hi again! So today, I am going to show you how I made these 3 snack ideas, that are great for winter! I’m not gonna lie, some are harder than others, but they are all splendid and really fun to look at. This took me about 4 hours to do (even though it was super fun), and my hands are covered in a lot of different substances from these snacks:). Anyways, even if you don’t end up making them, I hope you enjoy this post!
The first one I will show you how to do is the hardest in my opinion, but it is really good. It is this white chocolate covered oreo pop with a heart made of icing on the top.
What you will need is: a bowl and spoon(for mixing melted chocolate), some sort of stick (popsicle stick, lollypop stick, chopstick, etc.), meltable chocolate (whatever flavor you like), icing, and oreos.
Step 1: Melt the chocolate as directed, on the package, until there is a smooth, creamy consistency.
Step 2: Put the oreo on the stick, and dip it into the chocolate, until fully covered.
Step 3: Let cool for 10-15 minutes (I would recommend letting it cool in a fridge):)
Step 4: Put whatever design you want with icing on top of the chocolate covered oreo, and enjoy!
This next one is my personal favorite, because it is so cute! It is a melting snowman cookie. Obviously it doesn’t have to be melting, if you prefer it to be never melting, like Olaf from Frozen:)
What you will need: marshmallows, icing or edible marker(for face details), melting chocolate or icing (I just thought the chocolate would look nicer, since it harden), cookie mix (along with whatever you need for the mixing/making of it), bowl, and spoon.
Step 1: Bake your cookies, however it is instructed, whether it is from a mix, or from scratch. Also, melt your chocolate, if that is what you decided to use:)
Step 2: Put your icing or chocolate on top of the cookie, to the way that you like it.
Step 3: I found it easiest to use the edible marker, but you can also use icing. What your gonna do is create the face on the marshmallow, the put it on top of the cookie, more on the side. Then, either draw or pipe on icing, making sticks for the hands, and buttons, and whatever else you want on your snowman.
After you finish decorating, enjoy!
Last, but not least, is this snowman donut. It is definately the easiest, for those of you who don’t wanna spend a long time baking, and dealing with the preciseness of the icing.
What you will need: Powdered donuts, candy corn, and icing or edible marker (trust me, it’s a lot easier than the other ones):)
Step 1: Take a candy corn, and place it in the hole of the donut.
Step 2: Draw or ice on the eyes and mouth.
After that, enjoy!
Ok, so that will be it for this post, and I hope you enjoyed it, because I worked really hard on it :). Please feel free to leave a comment, if you want to (suggestions for upcoming blog posts would be great). Have a great rest of your day, and thanks for stopping bye!<3
